How do I turn off the Diablo like run? This way of moving is painful as hell.

It´s very bad. Time passes and it still doesn't get better. I agree with you that it spoils the game. I guess that's how they adapt to a larger audience and that's why they don't make the changes. I need to relax!

Tat has said it is fixed

It was made opensource in the past apparently. According to Tatrix all it did was that it made people made scripts for the game to automate it. So rather than playing, they would just afk the game. I can understand why people did this to reduce the tedious side of the game. No one actually did anything else to improve the gameplay mechanics.
